There are represented the results of the comparative analysis of the motive dominant of asociality of the lyrical “I” in the poetry of the XX century. The variety of forms and functions of the character’s behavior (revolt, carnival derision, alienation) allows the conclusion about the typological closeness of the methods of creative reflection of the authors conditioned by the external (similarity of crisis epochs) and internal (genetic kindred and succession) factors.
