From the positions of the competence approach and taking into consideration the qualification requirements there are marked out the integrative characteristics of the key competences and the components of patriotic culture of additional education teacher, which are represented as the criteria of its formation. There are outlined the grounds for the signs that reflect the level characteristics of teacher’s patriotic culture at its various stages.
