There is marked the urgency of the issue of labour professions popularization. There are described the theoretical and methodological approaches to study of pupils’ orientation at labour professions by way of the analysis of the notions “profession” and “labour profession”. These definitions are regarded on the basis of the legal documents from the positions of the historical construction, as well as the interpretation of the modern scientific literature.
