Considering the stylistic use of popular statements
There is given the linguistic analysis of the ways of the stylistic use of popular statements in the modern German printed media. The stylistic use always leads to occasional stylistic varieties which may be used as phraseological units.

Linguistic status of famous expressions regarding the phraseological system of the language
There is carried out the linguistic analysis of famous expressions as the object of phraseology. There is given the critical review of special literature. There is suggested the author’s opinion on the debatable issues of the theory of phraseology: specified the scope of phraseology, determined the criteria of phraseological nature of famous expressions, used the structural and semantic classification of the researched material, made the conclusion about famous expressions as an important source of phraseological contents of the language.

Popular expressions by F. Schiller as the source of German proverbs
There are described the results of the etymologic and linguistic analysis of popular expressions from the works by F. Schiller, found out the prerequisites of changing the author’s individual expressions to popular ones, commented on the methodology of ascertainment of the authorship, carried out the structural and semantic analysis of fixed phrases of the proverb type, stated the exact number of popular expressions by Schiller that enrich the gold reserves of proverbs in the German literary language.
