Sound semiotics of hunters’ communication
The article deals with the sound semiotic component (audial sign, sound, signal etc.) that helps a hunter to identify the prey, distinguish the sounds it makes and finding out its location. The audial semiotic component favours the process identification of success or failure of hunting and the analysis of the situation of hunting. Thus, listening to the voice of a hound a hunter may find out if a hound is successful, if it has reached an animal, if it is physically strong and healthy, or injured by an animal.
