There are analyzed and classified various approaches to civil education, substantiated the key role of pupil’s subjectivity in this process represented as the civil position of a teacher and a pupil. There is revealed the place of the position aimed at the continuous pedagogic education and the main directions of civil education: cultural information, skills and cultural values.
