There is described the heritage of V.S. Ilyin, whose life was connected with a pedagogical higher school. There is considered the theory of the integrated process of personality formation, as well as the scientific school of the scientist developing the issues of the holistic approach to the educational process, which was accepted and developed in the Volgograd scientific and pedagogic school.
