There is considered the reflection of the archetype “prodigal son” in the works by L. Panteleev about homeless children. There is shown how the heroes, like the evangelical prodigal son, coming across the sequence of ordeals and mistakes, gradually approach the heavenly fair prototype, returning to the social and moral standard.
