The article deals with the monitoring of professional and communicative training of agrarian higher school students that gives the reliable and prompt information concerning the future agrarian specialist’s professional and communicative competence and allowing the corrections in didactic conditions of its formation.

There is considered the professional training of a future specialist of the agricultural sector from the position of the competence approach in the context of modernization of the contents of education, optimization of the ways and technologies of educational process organization and reconsideration of the goal and result of education that lead to its quality improvement.

In the context of professional establishment there is considered the communicative training of agrarian higher school students and the necessity of revealing the specific features of formation of communicative skills in various forms of education and the series of disciplines of higher school, as well as concretized the spectrum of communicative skills of agrarian higher school students and the consequence of mastering them.
