The results of the experimental and phonetic research of prosodemics of the interfering prosodic system of the English language by Russian bilinguals show some peculiarities characteristic for the Russian language including the absence of tone steepness in low fall at the core syllable in the final syntagma; the tendency to descending tone on unstressed syllables in general questions; zigzag tonal variety of the scale instead of the descending one, etc.
