There is considered the development of the electronic teaching manual in the English language as the project work of students - future specialists in the sphere of tourism and service. There is analyzed the way of creating the conditions for formation of the competences necessary for studying and use of a foreign language in the professional environment at each stage of the project in the process of particular types of activity.
