There is suggested the structure and the contents of the basic stages of professional training in swimming of higher school students. The research aims to determine the pedagogic conditions and the model of professional training of higher school students. The research results verify the effectiveness of the suggested model, make it possible to determine the innovation technologies of students’ personal development in the process of professional training in swimming.
