There is proved that not only class work but also extracurricular activity favours the development of students’ competences. They are essential components of the integrated educational space of a higher school that include spatial and semantic, communicative and organizational, contents and methodological components. The extracurricular component of the educational space of a higher school influences the development of experience and personal values in the competence structure to a greater value.
