There is analyzed the use of graphics as one of the devices of artistic expressiveness used in the English language novels by R.N. Mitra. The author frequently uses italics or italic insertions, emphatic italics, upper-case letters in headings, punctuation, graphic markers of transition from one period of time to another. Graphic devices of expressiveness are used for introducing the additional meaning.
