There is suggested the contrastive analysis of the phraseological units of the Russian and the Tatar languages with the numeral component “two”/”ике” on the basis of comparison of the components of phraseological units and their varieties, lexical and grammatical categories, semantics and the extent of structural and typological closeness of phraseological units with the aim to find out the integral, differential signs, their national specificity.
