There are analyzed the peculiarities of demagogic behavior on the basis of the material of election TV debates in the USA. There are found out the cases of the use of demagogic methods by presidential contenders in the USA, determined the frequency of use of particular demagogic communicative tactics and methods in politicians’ speeches.
