There are regarded the combinatory characteristics of expressing gratitude in the Kalmyk, English and Russian languages. The analysis of objectification means of the concept gratitude shows that the ways of expressing gratitude in the suggested linguistic cultures have both some similarities and considerable differences at the linguistic and paralinguistic levels.
