There are suggested the results of comparison of linguistic and axiological characteristics of the German and Russian concept spheres. The given characteristics are stated, based on the analysis of conceptualization of the notion of social norm in the Russian and German languages. There are compared the value components of linguistic and cultural concepts, correlated with such structural elements of the norm as base and sanction.
