Attributive combinatory power of nouns
man and woman in linguistic
and cognitive aspect (in the Russian
language)
Based on the Russian fiction of XVIII - XIX centuries
and modern mass media there are defined the
functioning peculiarities of nouns man and woman
with attributes; from linguistic and cognitive approach
there are revealed characteristics of mans
and womans image of XIX century.
There are analyzed more than 3500
combinations with nouns man and woman.
