There are considered the issues of motivational and value attitude of first-year students of the Kalmyk State University to improving and preserving individual health. There is given the first-year students subjective assessment to their individual health, revealed the basic negative and positive factors that influence students health. There are shown the ways of improving the first-year students motivation to health preserving including physical training lessons.
