There is characterized the influence of Lermontovs lyrics on the poets of the 40-50s of the XIX century reflected not only in the images, themes, motives, genres but also at the composition level. The poem Когда волнуется желтеющая нива written in the indicated period became an example for many authors of the middle of the century. Its construction may be called the key protoquotation that entailed a number of poetic quotations, poems-allusions. The brightest examples are in the lyrics of A.N.Maikov, N.F.Shcherbina, A.K.Tolstoi, I.S.Turgenev, A.A.Fet.
