There is suggested the critical review of the existing hypotheses that explain the image laundry (future) in the libretto by Anna Akhmatova to the ballet The Thirteenth Year based on the Poem Without a Hero. Besides, there is suggested the explanation of the image referring both to particular reality of the times depicted in the libretto and to cultural context of the epoch, its semiosphere.
