There is regarded the functioning in the scientific texts of some English verbs which realize the function of the deictic indication. The analysis of such verbs was carried out on the material of authentic linguistic English texts. In the course of the research there was revealed the limited list of verbs able to function in the scientific communication as deictic elements.
