There are covered the theoretical issues connected with the development of the cognitive approach to the artistic and poetic text. The poetic world picture is considered as the mental basis for poetic creativity where special knowledge is organized. There is determined the field of knowledge, main elements of conceptualization and basic structural elements of the poetic world picture, suggested the level typology of artistic concepts.
