Token functions and symbols
of traditional folk clothing
There are considered the token functions in folk
costumes on the example of peasant clothing of the
XX century. There are analyzed the symbols of parts
of clothes and determined the token status of the
costume. There is found out the connection between
rituals of life cycles and clothing.
