Architectural traditions of Kalmyk people:
from nomad tent to Buddhist temple
There is described the Kalmyk architecture in
the system of visual arts of Kalmykia in the XIX -
beginning of XX centuries. Researching the ethnic
culture genesis, there is analyzed the issue of historic
development of nomads architecture and revealed
the evolution from nomad tent to Buddhist temple of
Kalmykia.
