From the position of historical and pedagogical succession, there is analyzed the system of educational methods in the didactic system by V.A.Sukhomlinsky, developed and realized in work experience of Pavlysh secondary school. There is shown the necessity of didactic ideas suggested by V.A.Sukhomlinsky (ways, forms of self-education, research laboratories) for the modern didactics.
