There is analyzed the issue of polysemantic words functioning in individual vocabulary of pupils with general underdevelopment of speech habits. There are considered the methods of polysemantic word identification by children of the mentioned category; there are suggested the facts that reflect the learning peculiarities of semantic structure of nouns, adjectives and verbs by pupils with normal and underdeveloped speech habits.
