Value orientation formation is a long and complicated process. Among the factors that influence it, an important role is played by education that contains the system of values, which can be conveyed to the rising generation. There is suggested the model of process of senior teenagers value orientation formation in studying the content of the regional component of geographical education, efficiency of which is experimentally proved.
