There are described some separate models of translation and the main points of the authors discursive and communicative translation model, according to which linguistic peculiarities and discursive characteristics of the initial text, main points and constitutive signs of discourse, functions, typical properties and communicative strategies determine translation methods, form translation microstrategies at the text level and translation macrostrategies at the discourse and communication level.
