There is analyzed the reflection of the category of space in the Don Cossack dialect. The vocabulary of the Don dialects is shown through the classification based on the binary oppositions: near/far, in front/ behind, right/left, up/down, known/unknown, own/ anothers, house/yard, inner/outer.
