There is investigated the foreign language vocabulary as a component of dramaturgic dialogue of the XVIII century: revealed its ability to fulfil the function of constructive and semantic connections of cues, take part in creating different types of dialogues, reveal the specificity of a personages comedy image, traits of the authors idiostyle. There are analyzed the semantic transformations of foreign language words, as well as their stylistic functions in the structure of the dialogical unity.

There is given the analysis of loanwords in the Russian comedy of the second half of the XVIII century, revealed its lexical and semantic groups, found out the semantic changes, peculiarities of formation of new, figurative meanings and ways of adaptation to the Russian language.
