The article deals with the issue of approximation of parameters of speech in a non-native language to the parameters of the authentic speech of native speakers. To solve this problem, the author proposes the idea of presenting the language material as the verbal scripts included in the culture of the country of the target language.

There is described the system of linguistic terms designating spatial concepts, proved that the language means of their designation are not metaphorical, described the role of spatial concepts in modelling linguistic objects, discussed the ways of their correct usage in linguistics.
