There is regarded the issue of future defectologists training for formation of temporary prospects of disabled children by means of drama activities. Health disabilities lead to limitations in communication with other people, to narrowing of microsociety and, as a consequence, to underdevelopment of the temporary prospect, goals and plans. Drama activities make it possible to enrich social experience by mastering new social roles and common creative work.

There is specified the essence of temporal competence as a component of professional competence of a future social teacher, revealed the conditions and substantiated the model of its formation process.

Peculiarities of social pedagogues activities allow regarding the ability for self-development as an integral part of professional readiness of the specialist. We consider the ability for self-development in the light of time and suggest the time competence as the necessary component of professional competence of a social pedagogue.
