On the basis of the analysis of the regional documents and the present experience in the sphere of family policy, as well as the contents of pedagogical education, there are revealed the guidelines of training a teacher for realization of the regional family policy: issues, perspectives, aims, contents, possibilities of different forms of education at a higher school.

On the basis of the analysis of domestic conceptions in philosophy, psychology and sociology there are sorted out the axiological grounds of research of a family as a social and cultural phenomenon, marked the ideas productive for pedagogical research of the idea, determined the possibilities and limitations of their use in pedagogy.
