There are analyzed the philosophic, sociological, psychological aspects of the notion patriotism from the point of view of pedagogy. On the basis of the interdisciplinary synthesis there are determined the methodological issues of patriotic education by means of the pedagogic interpretation of the notion of patriotism.

There are analyzed the modern pedagogic research of patriotic education issues. On the basis of the modern comprehension of nature and the essence of patriotism phenomenon, there are substantiated the methodological issues of patriotic education.
