There is considered the use of such information technologies as social networks and free Internet resources in study of the works of the Russian classic literature, shown the potential of such technologies at literature lessons by particular examples.

There is made the attempt to analyze the space model of the Russian literature in the aspect of traditions by the example of the poems by Elena Schwarz. The interpretation of Petersburgs myth in the modern postmodernist poetry and the biographical myth by N.V. Gogol are considered the most thoroughly.

There is given the detailed review of the issue of the cultural opposition East - West from the point of view of its spatial and figurative geography in the poetry of Elena Shvarts. On the basis of the analysis of cultural and religious motives in fiction texts, there are made the conclusions about the peculiarities of the authors fiction world, built on the basis of the idea of ecumenism and ending of the traditional opposition of two types of human civilizations.
