Deformations in translation are considered as negative, distorting the original text. They can be a conscious translation decision, because for various reasons not everything is reproducible in translation and the achievement of a global goal is inevitably associated with losses. At the same time, some deformations are caused by insufficient preliminary work of a translator in clarifying the basic semantic, syntagmatic and grammatical models characteristic of the text and the language of the author.

There are suggested different interpretations of the relations between the notions political discourse and political communication, their connection with the conceptual and language world picture.
