There are described the peculiarities of the processes of occasional phraseology and neologisms; revealed the criteria of language level choice for the unit; found out the activity level of transformation processes of phraseological units in such unrelated languages as Russian, English, Turkish, French.

There is analyzed the variance of phraseological units in the form of conceptions of wide and narrow approaches. There are analyzed the lexical and grammatical transformations, which do not break the semantic structure of phraseological units in the English and Russian languages. There is revealed the dependence of structural and semantic characteristics of phraseological units in intra-model variance.
