Methodological basis of the study of the linguo-cognitive specificity of the verbalization of the syntactic concept “otherness (sound manifestation) of the object ” in Russian and English
The article describes the main stages of the semantic-cognitive analysis of the language material verbalizing the syntactic concept “otherness (sound manifestation) of an object” in Russian and English. The author formulates formulate the basic postulates of the semantic-cognitive approach in the process of identifying and describing the linguo-cognitive features of the representation of the syntactic concept under study.

Syntactic representation of the concept “different being (sounding)” of the object in the Russian and the English languages (by the example of the structural schemes “издает звуки (звучит)”, “there is a sound”)
There is considered one of the ways of verbalization of the concept “different being (sounding) of the object” in the Russian and the English languages as the structural schemes “издает звук (звучит)” and “there is a sound”. There is given the English and the Russian illustrative speech material that demonstrates the examples of the use of the described structures.

Linguistic and cognitive peculiarities of the verbal expression of the concept different being (sounding) of the object in the English language (by the example of the structural scheme who utters vocal sounds)
There are analyzed the examples of the verbal expression of the concept different being (sounding) of the object in the English language on the basis of the example of the structural scheme who utters vocal sounds. There is explained the linguistic and cognitive conditionality of speech modifications of verbalizations of the investigated concept.
