There are analyzed the representations of the concept VIOLENCE in the texts of the school textbook Literature Reading for Purpose published by Glencoe (USA). There is given the seme analysis of the lexeme violence, modeled the conceptscenario VIOLENCE, sorted out the slots of the scenario, described the lexical and semantic filling of the slots.
