The article deals with emotivity as a universal method designed to guide and correct the speech interaction of interlocutors seeking to achieve the effectiveness of interpersonal communication. The effectiveness of the methodological orientation of emotivity is illustrated by examples from artistic communication (literature, painting, music).

There are revealed the emotive peculiarities of the texts of the final pleaof the sentenced to death. From the positions of the emotive linguistic ecology there is considered the ecology of the stress linguistics of the texts.

There is substantiated the thesis about the discursiveness of emotions. This discursiveness relates to communicative/categorial emotional situations of human communication. The effectiveness of emotional communication depends on the adequacy of speech partners emotional images and on their sincerity/insincerity.
