There is suggested the retrospective pedagogic analysis of development of values of motherly education through philosophic, religious and ideological, social and psychological and pedagogical aspects.

There is regarded the genesis of the ideas of maternal education in the society and domestic education, the positions of its supporters and opponents; the development tendencies of maternal education values in womans education in Russia and their influence on the modern maternity.
