There is considered the meaning and essence of multimedia technologies in the conditions of information society establishment. There are analyzed the existing approaches to investigation of multimedia technologies. There is suggested the component model of the methodological system of multimedia technologies education at the informatics courses with the consideration of the specific character of training future specialists of aesthetic and liberal sphere in the system of secondary professional education.
