There is considered the onomastics of the Russian writers of the latest decades of the XX century, regarding the reproduction of the phenomenon of the “formerness” as the basis of the images of the beaten: the participants of the White movement of the Civil War times, the hereditary aristocrats as the object of the ideological pressing, victims of the Gulag. There is found out the conditionality of their image by the objective and subjective factors: the principle of historicism and the originality of the authors’ creative individuality.

There is analyzed the imagery system of the works by V.G. Rasputin in the light of the main behavioral models of literature characters and in the aspect of general issues of Christian morality
