Artistic image in virtual space: Varlam Shalamov’s “biconvex lens” of and George Ivanov’s “talent of double vision”
The aesthetic aspect of the virtual and the virtualization process are considered as phenomena that correspond to modern ideas about the nature of the creative process in general and the specific attitudes of individual authors in the poetic aspect.

Anagogical meaning of the open-ended finale (from the old Russian hagiography to the stories by L.N. Tolstoy, V.T. Shalamov, G.G. Demidov)
The article deals with the process of spiritual transformation and elevation of characters (anagogy) in extraordinary situations. The comparative aspect is implemented on the material of the narrative forms with the “open-ended” finale: old Russian hagiography, stories by L.N. Tolstoy, V.T. Shalamov, G.G. Demidov. An attempt is made to expand the semantic field of literary anthropology by focusing on the anagogical component of character as a spiritual and moral dominant.

Opposition of the evil and the good: A.A. Akhmatova - “Anna I” and the “Kolyma syndrome” by V.T. Shalamov
The article deals with the phenomenon of “evil from light”, or “the evil good”, and counteraction to it in the works by V.T. Shalamov and A.A. Akhmatova. The comparative aspect highlights the resistance to the atheistic tendencies of the epoch together with the uniqueness of the aesthetic and axiological guidelines of the authors. The attention is focused on the special place of the “phenomenon” of Akhmatova (“Anna I”) in the fiction world of Shalamov, with the elements of the “Akhmatova’s” text.

Cycle by A. Blok “The Spell by Fire and Darkness” in the context of art of V. Shalamov: the Parallels and counter-parallel
The article deals with the functioning of poetic images of A. Blok in the fiction world by V. Shalamov. The comparative aspect is implemented in the process of including the series “The Spell by Fire and Darkness” in the context of the novel “Unconverted”. It is attempted to expand the modern tropology by means of the concept of evocativeness that allows us to characterize the aesthetic and axiological guidelines of the authors in their uniqueness.

Visual and figurative dominant in the poetic axiology of M.Y. Lermontov
There is revealed the originality of the poetry of M.Y. Lermontov in the aspect of visualization of mental notions and ideas, their transformation into visualization of subjective and sensitive contents. The symbolic nature of the poetic ideology is analyzed in the light of the Christian axiology and metaphysics in correlation with the Orthodox icon painting tradition.

The beaten: issue of onomastic identification (based on the Russian prose of the second half of the XX century)
There is considered the onomastics of the Russian writers of the latest decades of the XX century, regarding the reproduction of the phenomenon of the “formerness” as the basis of the images of the beaten: the participants of the White movement of the Civil War times, the hereditary aristocrats as the object of the ideological pressing, victims of the Gulag. There is found out the conditionality of their image by the objective and subjective factors: the principle of historicism and the originality of the authors’ creative individuality.

Energetics of name in biographic virtual formation
There is considered the phenomenon of the onomastic “play” in the virtual space of culture connected with the biography, creative life and personal originality of Varlam Shalamov and Salvador Dali. There is aroused the issue of intensification of theoretic and methodological postulates of the traditional biographic method in literature studies, widening of its heuristic potential.

There is analyzed the creative credo of V.T. Shalamov as a prose writer in philosophic and figurative cinema context by A.A. Tarkovsky in the light of basic points about the correlation of verbal and visual-verbal types of arts and moral and behavioral patterns of personages.
