There is covered the issue of the typology of comic speech genres that function in the Internet communication. There is proved that the classifications are connected with the choice of adequate criteria for describing genre peculiarities of the Internet.

There are described the Internet-memes that actively function on the Internet and are widely used as the means of intercultural communication. Internet-memes are considered as a special variety of precedent phenomena that have a cultural connotation. The possibilities of identification of speech genres that include Internet-memes are determined by the coincidence of the elements of the cultural store of the communicants, commonness of presuppositions.
