There is considered the phenomenon of evaluation of criminal law terms as one of the properties of the juridical terminology system as a whole. By the example of a number of the Old Russian terminology elements and the groups of the modern terminological units there is described the objective necessity of the connotative element in the structure of the juridical terminology notions of the criminal law.
