The scene of grape gathering is considered as the prologue to bread labour scenes in Anna Karenina; there are noted the evangelical motives that connect these scenes. In the representation of grape garden as the love space, there are investigated the motives of Canticles of Solomon and the connection of garden with the woman, revealing its sacral semantics.
