Elevated pronunciation style: basic categories and signs
The article deals with the basic categories of the elevated style and the tactics to implement them: 1) techniques that help to avoid the associations that do not correspond to the idea of the beautiful; 2) various types of amplification that make speech ample. The techniques of the elevated pronunciation style form a system that is integrated into the mechanism of elevating. Such techniques are slow speech tempo, as well as the xenization of pronunciation by means of orthoepic borrowings from culturally prestigious languages.

About the main types of speech rhythm
There are considered three types of rhythms: syntactical, accentual-syllabic and syllabic, as well as the main rhythmic styles and tactics of Russian speech; with regards to the rhetoric and stylistics, there is analyzed the categorial apparatus of the theory of speech rhythm, given the short critical retrospective review of the issue.

Burlesque in the light of the antique theory of three styles
In the light of the antique theory of three styles and the category of appropriateness (ƒƒέƒƒƒ, aptum), there are considered the thematic and style varieties of burlesque, revealed the sphere of the given style, made the paradigm of its production methods. There are analyzed the connections of burlesque and a number of related phenomena (such as grotesque, parody and others), which gave an opportunity to differentiate these notions more clearly and to specify the relevant definitions.
